After a short hiatus, popular fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant chain Taziki’s is set to open a new Mount Pleasant location in the Indigo Square shopping center around July 15.

So, along with her father, Cole Leinneweber, and family friend Mark Parmerlee, Lexi is sharing the food she loved in college with the community she grew up with by opening a Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe location in New Braunfels.

“I grew up here, my dad’s business is here and Mark’s business is here,” Lexi said. “When my dad asked what I was going to do [after college], I was like, ‘What about a Taziki’s franchise?’ He said OK, and now I get to be involved in the community and bring Mediterranean food to the community. I thought it would be a great fit … the community of New Braunfels is a really special place.”
